FEATI University’s High School Reunion 2015

Le Pavillon in Pasay City became the venue for FEATI University’s High School Reunion: GR’15. The love month on which it was held also brought together alumni from 1965 through 1985. That evening guests were greeted by beautiful acoustic music as they registered and had their photos taken at the commemorative photo wall. Ron De Los Reyes, perhaps the most visible and widely-recognized personality to come out of the Class of 1971 emceed the affair after Maureen Orancia led everyone in prayer.

Calyn Catipon became emotional when she welcomed all of those who showed up to celebrate GR’15 Total Recall.

Dr. Flordeliza Clemente-Reyes who taught mathematics at the time when founder Victoria Lopez-De Araneta walked the hallways as FEATIU President reminisced about the golden time of FEATI High School with a very capable woman President and brilliant students who were fluent in all of the subjects. Dr. Reyes’ speech was followed by an audio-visual presentation of FEATI High School students, teachers, events and activities that took everyone back in time. In that same presentation Ms. Lucila Puno, Dean Hermelina Santos, Elena Dulay and Dr. Flordeliza Clemente-Reyes, teachers all shared their experiences.

Ron De Los Reyes wasn’t long in performing solo hosting duties as Don Garcia soon joined him, just in time to see their batchmate Melchor Cerezo introduce and honor Dr. Dolores Roque-Garcia; former faculty, department head, dean, guidance counselor and university registrar of FEATIU.

Music played ever so softly in the background as dinner was served. It was more catching up as plates, forks, spoons, knives, and goblets clinked and clanged. Laughter and reminiscing brought everyone closer than ever.

Sated, the time was perfect for the raffling of gifts, ending the evening on just the right note.

Another #GreatFEATIexperience in GR’15 for FEATI HS alumni.
