FEATI University in 19th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta!
People are in awe of Engineers and for good reason. Nothing on land, air, and sea gets built without them.
At FEATI University’s College of Engineering-Aeronautical Engineering and Aircraft Maintenance Department, the graduates from post WWII to the present day of intense social media continue to trail-blaze their way to a sky-is-the-limit career. Decades of quality education has led to thousands of Filipinos and foreign nationals having gone through #TheGreatFEATIExperience in aviation; and, since a few days ago was International Women’s Day, it is reason for us to rejoice over the fact that FEATIU has been the university of choice for young women who want to build planes or sit in the cockpits of the leading airlines of the world.
It is for these reasons that FEATIU has become a regular fixture in the annual Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (PIHABF); to bring this exhilaratingly soaring program closer to young men and women whose desire is to be ‘up in the air’.
The organizers of this year’s PIHABF on their 19th staging, has once again welcomed FEATIU. And what a great four-day fiesta it was as you can see from the photos. Visitors to the FEATIU tent smiled, ooh-ed, aah-ed, and became generally awestruck as they were introduced to our light planes and flight simulator.
Also present at PIHABF is our Chairman and CEO Francisco A. Segovia, a licensed helicopter pilot himself.
We are proud to say that FEATIU’s excellent standards in Aeronautical Engineering and Aircraft Maintenance haven’t waned. We shall continue to take off and bring our students with us on the up and up! (AMD)
