FEATI University student takes sweet spot at No.1 as 16 other FEATInians pass the 2012 Geodetic Engineering Board Exam

Continuing the tradition of excellence expected of FEATI students, Mike Alvin G. Tatoy, 2012 B.S. Geodetic Engineering Magna Cum Laude graduate, placed first in the 2012 Geodetic Engineering Board Exams held on September 4 and 5 in Manila. Tatoy scored 89.80% to get the coveted top spot followed by 2nd placer Lean Carlo E. Celis of UP-Diliman (85.80%) and 3rd placer Joselito B. Lim Jr. of John Paul II College (84.20%).

There were 351 examinees in total but only 123 passed with FEATI University posting an overall performance of 47.22% vis-à-vis the national passing average of 35.04%. Likewise victorious in their board exam were FEATInians:

The date and venue for the oath-taking ceremony of all successful examinees shall be announced at a later date according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

FEATI University, the College of Engineering, and the Department of Geodetic Engineering congratulate Mike Alvin and his co-passers for an impressive showing in the examinations! Credit must likewise be given to Geodetic Engineering Department Chair Dr. Maria Cecilia R. Paringit and her faculty members for the thorough training and preparation of Batch 2012.
