FEATI University Holds Annual S&T Expo on February 17 to 19

Savvy entrepreneurship and 21st century science are about to converge at the upcoming annual FEATI University Science and Technology Expo on February 17 to 19 at the University's 5th floor Activity Center.

High school students, science and technology enthusiasts as well as noted personalities from the S&T field will be treated to a fest designed to combine business savvy with the commercialization of inventions and concepts.

With the theme "Technology and Entrepreneurship," the three-day event will feature different activities such as exhibition of research projects, art exhibit, research project competition, orienteering, culinary demonstration, wine tasting, open house, and on-the-spot art competition.
Engr. Ramon I. Castillo, President of Innovatronix, Inc. will deliver the keynote address on the first day of the expo on his experience as a technology-based entrepreneur.

A two-hour talk on technology commercialization will be given by Engr. Tarhata M. Mariano, Senior Science Research Specialist from the Technology Innovation for Commercialization Program – Department of Science and Technology (TECHNICOM-DOST) on February 18. Judging research projects will also be completed on the same day.

Exhibitors include the DOST, Carlos Palanca Stakeholders Working Group (CPWSG), Innovatronix Inc., Parañaque Science High School, Philippine Science High School, U-Belt Consortium Research and Extension Linkage and Victorino Mapa High School.
