The Featinian Association of Toronto: unwaveringly committed to giving back to Alma Mater

For almost a decade now FEATI University scholars have benefited from the unbridled support of FEATI alumni based in Toronto, Canada. The group, formally known as “The FeatinianAssociation of Toronto or TFAT” has, since its inception, provided assistance to incoming senior year students of the University though a scholarship that includes full payment of tuition and miscellaneous fees. TFAT is the principal driving force behind “The FeatinianAssociation of Toronto and FEATI University Academic Excellence Award Programme,” which gives three outstanding graduating students cash awards annually for being “the best in class”.

The Programme (the spelling reflects its Canadian roots) was established to provide a vehicle for members and officers of TFAT to meet its mandate and mission of promoting, contributing, and engaging in worthwhile programmes and projects for and of the University.

TFAT, in partnership with FEATI University, honored the following students for their excellent academic showing in the recently-concluded 2013 FEATI Commencement Exercises at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). Receiving this year’s TFAT-FU Annual Academic Excellence Award were:

Roberta Jane Laurente Rivera, BS Customs Administration magna cum laude;

John Gabriel Guevarra Decena, BS Aeronautical Engineering cum laude;

Rei Marie Miranda Frani, BS Aeronautical Engineering cum laude;

Flying in from Canada especially for the occasion to personally hand the awards to these students was TFAT vice-president Engr. Oliver Rey. Engr. Rey and TFAT president Moises Ga along with the board members were no doubt bursting with happiness to see their awardee-scholars at the cusp of a great future.

FEATI University is truly blessed for the generous spirit, passionate commitment, and wholehearted support of TFAT. (AMD)
