FEATI ALUMNI HOMECOMING March 6, 2010
The 2010 FEATI University Alumni Homecoming was held at The Hall, Philippine Trade Training Center, Roxas Blvd, on March 6, 2010, the traditional Foundation Day of the University, which coincides with the birthday of Doña Victoria Lopez de Araneta. March 6 is now celebrated by the University as Founders’ Day. Guest of Honor Felizardo “Jun” R. Sevilla, EE 71, in his keynote speech spoke of the prosperity and high professional attainment of the alumni in attendance but also reminded them of their roots, and how they had all worked hard to graduate and find their fortune. The full text of his message is reproduced for the benefit of those who were unable to attend. Highlights of the homecoming celebration included the Conferment of Honorary Membership in the FUAA to Dean Jose M. Segovia, former President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University, as well as the recognition of Life Members and the AY 2009-2010 donors and benefactors of the University and the FUAA.
