The University, on its 65th year as an academic institution, continues to deliver cutting edge evolutions in art as attested by the most recent triumphs by its students. This year's Shell NSAC winners from FEATI University are: Paul Christopher O. Adriano, 1st Place, Watercolor Category; Ronante S. Maratas, 2nd Place, Oil and Acrylic Category; and, Lance Kirby T. Yaneza, 3rd Place, Watercolor Category. Maratas was a double winner as another artwork entry of his "Memento Mori" also made it to the "best of the best" circle of finalists. Rey M. Lacap and Benjamin M. Javier were likewise recognized for their skill with the brush.

Students from 49 colleges and universities in the Philippines submitted their artworks for judging by critically-acclaimed artists Reuben Canete, Lito Carating, Rock Drilon, Soler Santos, and Ronald Ventura, Angel Cacnio, Antipas Delotavo, Renato Habulan, Nemi Miranda, and Pablo Baen Santos.

FEATI SFA Associate Dean Janice L. Young and faculty member Neil M. De La Cruz, both of whom mentored and nurtured the students for this national event, are justifiably proud of their students' achievements in what is known today as the most prestigious art competition for young artists.
