TUNOG KABATAAN PARA SA KALIKASAN
An Inter-school Battle of the Bands for a greener environment
FEATI University, through its Events & Promotions Group and Customs Administration Department, in cooperation with TV Juan, is staging a Battle of the Bands, an inter-school competition open to all student– amateur bands on December 18, 2010, 6:00 pm at MUSIKA BAR, Greenhills
Dubbed “Tunog Kabataan Para sa Kalikasan”, the event intends to bolster awareness on environmental issues among students and the general public. This will also intensify support of the University’s campaign for a greener environment which was launched early this year through a fashion show for a cause. All entries are environmentally-oriented original compositions to be judged by a panel of celebrity guest-artists and recognized environmentalists.
A guest speaker from DENR will discuss environmental concerns and matters during the event. Audition and pre-elimination will be held on November 28 at FEATI University. To date, fifteen entries representing bands of various colleges and universities in Metro Manila have registered.
